Geoff Newman is the founder of CFO Business Partners. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years accounting experience which includes 5 years within accounting practices in Australia and 15+ years commercial experience working for various companies both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Geoff’s broad based commercial experience working directly with companies, coupled with his detailed knowledge of accounting, gives him a different perspective and experience from accountants who remain in private practice.
Geoff has extensive practical experience at the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Director level and believes that a CFO is more than just the gatekeeper of good financial management and compliance. A CFO is someone who partners with the business to drive growth and performance.
Geoff started CFO Business Partners as he saw a need in the market to help those small to medium sized businesses succeed with the help of a commercially astute, solution focused CFO.
